How to Copy Clothes- Shorts

For this project, I am showing how I recreate a pair of shorts form an existing garment. Hope this helps you recreate a favorite item in your closet!

Patternmaking doesn't have to be hard or intimidating. The key is to practice, practice, practice. Since one of the main issues with making your own clothes, is that oftentimes they don't fit as expected, why not practice on a piece of clothing that already fits?

Part 1: Patternmaking

In the first part of the tutorial, I go over how I trace a pair of shorts I already own in order to create an accurate pattern.
